"On this year’s Transgender Day of Remembrance, let us all commit to walking in the shoes of our transgender community, not just today, but every day. Let us stand together, united in our diversity, and strive for a world where everyone is respected and valued for who they are. And let us celebrate the trailblazers and icons in our community who constantly push for the equity of all transgender people in this state and the world. The work we do would be impossible without you and we thank you.

‘Walk in Our Shoes’ takes place on Sunday, November 19th, and consists of both a reception (7-8:30 p.m.)  and a ball (9:30-11:30 p.m.) at 401 N Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Please come for whatever time you can to not only remember those we’ve lost in the fight for transgender equity but also to celebrate the lives of those who push our community’s fight for rights forward every single day."
